90th Anniversary Celebration

“I Love to Tell the Story” - “We’ve a Story to Tell to the Nations” - these are hymns we have sung many times in our church’s history. We all have stories to tell - of Jesus - of our own spiritual journeys - of our church’s history. We will be celebrating Good Shepherd’s history - 90 years since we became a congregation with stories that we can share. Many of our stories will begin with our church’s voting to stay open in the 1980s and will include our pastoral leadership over the years, our own journeys of faith, and how we have become the people of faith we are today.

Do you have a story about the vote - or about any of our pastors or other church workers - about things we used to do - events that have happened - the fire - worship during Covid? We are interested in stories of our past as well as current stories.

Be sure to save the date - October 25 - Reformation Sunday! We will be sharing our stories over a catered lunch in Fellowship Hall. Let me know if you have a specific story to share or if you would like to be a part of the planning for this occasion.
