Synod 101 - Learn about the work of the Chicago Metro Synod, one of our church body's 65 synods, in a casual forum including question-and-answer time. Good Shepherd member Kristina Herrera, serving on the synod council, coordinates this forum which features previous council member Dan Feiertag, GS synod assembly delegates Kyle Niewald and Linda Thomas, plus Pastor Nathan Klein, assistant to the synod bishop. The synod assembly elected a new bishop who assumes his new role this fall.

One Sunday a month (usually the first Sunday of the month), the Sunday Morning Bible Study takes a pause and welcomes a speaker to present on a topic of interest. Typically, the speakers are Good Shepherd members themselves or a representative of an organization that we support.
