Respect, Relate, Cooperate: Building Bridges in Divided Times with Katie Bringman Baxter

The United States has become increasingly polarized and divided over the past decade. Religion is one element among the many ideologies and differences that can divide us. Drawing on theory and programming expertise from the national organization Interfaith America, we'll consider principles for building bridges, as well as strategies for fostering pluralism and contributing to the common good.

Katie Bringman Baxter is Chief Impact Officer at Interfaith America, a national organization that envisions an America that embraces the power of pluralism, where we cooperate across differences for the common good. She has been at "IA" for 14 years, building programs for 12 years before taking on a role that oversees evaluation and operations. She grew up in an interfaith extended family and has always considered religious difference a rich part of family and community life.
