Lent Activity & Worship

6:30pm: Labyrinth opens
7:00pm: Movement Prayer
7:30pm: Worship

Member Sue Priebe, who has performed liturgical dance, will lead us in simple, easy-to-follow movements, some of which may be incorporated into Palm Sunday worship.

At Home: Download a worship activity that you can do at home, which relates to the in-person activities. Use a finger labyrinth as meditation (see note below.)

Full to the Brim: An Expansive Lent

Through our baptism we are blessed beyond measure. God’s love and grace flows to us in such abundance that it cannot be contained within our earthen vessels. Much like fine wine that overflows a huge earthen jar, the abundant gifts of God flow out from us. Our Lenten focus moves our eyes from scarcity to abundance, through worship, activity and meditation beginning on Ash Wednesday with the introduction of a Wellness Wheel. During the season there will be both in-person and online ways to participate.

Labyrinth: This ancient form of movement meditation will be found in the basement with guides for its use. It will be open for use on Wednesdays from 6:30pm till 7:30pm and Sundays from 8:30am till noon. There will also be finger labyrinths for personal use available.
