Know Your Rights Training

Oak Park-River Forest Rapid Response is offering Know Your Rights trainings throughout our area in preparation for a possible increased ICE/CBP presence this spring. Good Shepherd will be hosting one of these 90-minute trainings on March 7. The goal of these trainings is to give community members an overview of their rights as it pertains to interactions with immigration agents. The training will also discuss personal risk evaluation, as well as both formal and informal ways to become involved in supporting our community and protecting our neighbors and ourselves. This training is free and open to the community. Please register using this link. The training will be done in English.
