Live jazz interwoven with meditations and reflections.

Shakti leads the focus for Jazz Prayer on March 18th. The word comes from the Hindu faith to name the primordial, creative, cosmic energy that is often personified as a female. The music for the evening will feature female jazz composers and songs made famous by female jazz singers. Prayer will be infused with feminine images of the Divine. Doors open at 7:10pm. The program begins at 7:30pm.

Jazz Prayer will be offered in-person at Good Shepherd and livestreamed on our website on the third Friday of every month September through May. If you are coming in person, please remember to wear a mask.
