Garden Work Day

We have a lot of new plants to go into the garden, and many hands will make light work! Please join us on June 11 at 8:30am to put some plants in the ground and spread some mulch. We'll tackle the weeding and mulching and perhaps a few smaller projects if we have enough hands. Bring your gardening gloves, a trowel, and a water bottle.

We are focusing on some native spring ephemeral plants this year - things that will bloom while the rest of the garden is waking up in the early spring - including: spring beauty, bloodroot, jack in the pulpit, and pasque flowers. These plants were partially purchased with donations from Easter and Pentacost. Unlike tulips which won't reliably return, these plants should return and multiply year over year.
