We invite all who are able and willing to donate blood to sign up. The process takes about one hour, and Vitalant professionals are friendly and engaging, which makes the donating a pleasure. It’s also a public event, providing an opportunity to meet people who don’t usually visit Good Shepherd. We will provide flyers for posting in public places in the community, and we’ll ask people to spread the word among friends, neighbors, and associates.

If you’re new to Vitalant, you will be asked to register first, then schedule a time for yourself. Use the banner on the upper left to choose the date of August 29 as your primary filter, to avoid scrolling through dozens of other donation opportunities.

Blood is a vital commodity, always in demand. Donating one pint provides needed care for up to three patients. This is one direct way to practice Christian care for others, consistent with the commandment given to us by Jesus. Please join us on August 29!
