The roots of our Christian Holy Communion Worship and the Jewish Seder are both grounded in the same ritual: the Greek Agape Meal. This is the meal that Jesus most likely shared on Passover with his disciples. This festive meal began with appetizers, followed by a hearty meal and then stories. Come join us at 6:30pm on Thursday, April 17th for a Family-Friendly Agape meal with Soup and appetizers.
Then stay with us for Watch Night. Jesus left the meal and went with some disciples to pray. He asked them to stay awake and keep watch. We will try to stay awake on this night and keep watch with lots of different activities. The night of watch ends with breakfast at dawn.
