Share Your Soles Shoe Drive

Our Confirmation students are sponsoring a shoe drive for Share Your Soles, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization that is dedicated to sharing gently worn or new shoes to those in greatest need. Currently, they are responding to the emergency in Malawi caused by severe flooding.

Shoes will be collected March 8 through April 12. Shoes of any type or size can be donated, although the greatest need is for children’s shoes. Share Your Soles does not repair or wash shoes and those receiving them often live in adverse conditions; donate wisely. Look for our donation boxes in the narthex.

Into the Woods: our Lenten Journey

We are all on a journey "Into the Woods" where we encounter our own fairy tales: challenging obstacles and scary creatures. Yet, God promises to be with us and guide us through safely. Through worship, prayer partners, Bible study and individual journalling, there will be time during Lent to reflect on our own personal, scary woods in which we each find ourselves or we've been avoiding for too long. The 40 day journey gives us time to make more room for God, to let go of the baggage that is slowing us down, and turn around to the path God opens for us. Sign up for a prayer partner here.
