Confirmation (Middle School):
The Confirmation program at Good Shepherd is for students in 7th and 8th grade. We use the Head to the Heart program created by Faith Inkubators, which focuses on serving, learning and having fun.
Confirmation classes are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30—7:45pm during the school year. Sunday worship attendance and Sunday morning education are also keys parts of our program.
Students are confirmed in the fall of their freshman year.

For more information about Confirmation, contact Deaconess Debbie Rank, Director of Christian Education at ChristianEd@goodshepherdlc.org or call 708-848-4741

Youth Group (High School):
The Youth Group Ministry nurtures our high school-age youth in their relationships with Christ and each other. Youth participate in learning activities, fellowship outings, service opportunities, summer trips and retreats. The Youth Group meets during the weekly Sunday morning education hour (Breakfast Club) from 9:15-10:15am and monthly for fellowship or service activities.

Breakfast Club:
The Breakfast Club engages the youth in popular culture, relating what is happening in their world to being a Christian. It is a time for youth to hang out, check in with each other and to explore spiritual topics with caring adult leaders. The group meets on Sundays from 9:15-10:15 in the third floor lounge.
